The Medoc Trail Races will once again host a pre-race pasta dinner at the main picnic shelter on Friday night. Thanks to the support of the Roanoke Rapids Pizza Hut, we are getting trays of freshly cooked pasta, breadsticks, salads, lemonade, cookies and brownies to serve to our hungry runners and their families.
If you plan to join us, you must preregister so we can order the proper quantity of food. All meal tickets are non-refundable.
Here are some things you need to know about the pasta dinner:
- We will begin serving food at approximately 5:40 pm on Friday 10/15 and stop at 7:00 pm.
- All food will be served at the Main Picnic Shelter. This is a short walk from the group campsites.
- Food will be served buffet style, so we can not guarantee you will get the food preferences that requested, but will do our best. Last year we had no problems.
- Medoc Mountain State Park is about 20-25 minutes from any major hotel or restaurant. We expect everything to be ready at 5:40, but realize we may not start exactly at 5:40. Come with a patient attitude, and have some fun.
